Tuna & Catnip Crunchy Cat Treats
Ingredients:
- 1 can tuna in water (drained)
- 1 cup oat flour (or finely ground oats)
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon dried catnip
- 1–2 tablespoons water (if needed)
Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
2️⃣ Prepare Dough:
In a food processor or bowl, combine the drained tuna, oat flour, egg, olive oil, and dried catnip. Mix until a dough forms.
If the mixture seems dry, add water a little at a time until workable.
3️⃣ Shape the Treats:
Roll the dough into small balls or flatten and cut into tiny shapes using small cookie cutters or a piping bag.
4️⃣ Bake:
Place the treats on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until lightly golden and firm.
5️⃣ Cool Completely:
Allow treats to cool fully before serving or storing.
Storage:
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
- Freeze for longer storage (up to 3 months).
